Recently, workers were processing and testing battery cells on a new energy battery company's production line in Liuzhou Northern Ecological New District. According to Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, projects such as Saike & Rept, Guoxuan, Penghui, and Key Power have successively landed and been put into production, and the planned production capacity of new energy battery cells in the city has reached 80GWh.

It is understood that Liuzhou is currently building a highland of the international new energy vehicle industry. Among them, SGMW's Project 125 is advancing at an accelerated pace, and it is expected to help increase the output value of Liuzhou's new energy vehicle industry supply chain to 170 billion yuan by 2025, driving the development of more than 400 parts and components enterprises and creating more than 500,000 jobs. Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor is also creating a new engine for the conversion of passenger and commercial vehicles to the new energy vehicles with its Project E56.
